Season Description

Season Four of Down Gilead Lane solves the mystery of Grace’s accident! In this season, the kids decide to take matters into their own hands, and “”Operation Lemonade”” is put into action. Pretty much everybody in Coleraine knows something about that night, but why don’t they want to talk about it? The kids are going to find out!

Today’s Story

The kids’ investigation grows out of control when Mr. Richter comes to pick up Maya at Mr. Key’s and sees the memory garden planted at the scene of Grace’s accident. 

Brooke’s journaling takes her down a new path that leads her straight to Grace’s door. But, Grace has some memories of her own she’d like to bring back. How will Brooke react when she’s given the privilege to see who Grace’s parents really were.

Matthew 18:21-22 says, “Then Peter came to Him and said, ‘Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.’”


Peter thought he was being pretty nice to suggest he forgive someone seven times. I bet he was pretty surprised at Jesus’ response. What Jesus said shows us that Jesus doesn’t want us to keep track of our forgiveness. After all, if we’re keeping a tally, we’re not really forgiving, are we? To experience true forgiveness, you have to be willing to never bring it up again, so keeping a record book of how forgiving you are isn’t the way to go.
