Check This Out…
Judges make decisions to help people.

In a court, judges have a tough job to weigh the evidence and make decisions that fix bad things and help good people. They help settle arguments between two people. They make final decisions that affect the lives of the people who stand before them. They reward people who have done things correctly, and they stop others who have done things wrongly or have hurt other people.

We are judged everyday by people God has put in our lives to help us. Teachers grade our work, coaches lead our teams, and parents guide us to make good choices. When we do our best and do what’s right, these people make us better at what we do. When we don’t do our best or make mistakes, these people work to help understand how to fix what we’ve done wrong.

In the New Testament, the Book of Hebrews tells us how to act in front of judges. Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. (Hebrews 13:17 ).

The Bible says that we must obey and we need to pray for our country’s judges, our teachers, our coaches and our parents. They need our encouraging words to continue to do God’s work for us in our lives.
