Season Description

Season Four of Down Gilead Lane solves the mystery of Grace’s accident! In this season, the kids decide to take matters into their own hands, and “”Operation Lemonade”” is put into action. Pretty much everybody in Coleraine knows something about that night, but why don’t they want to talk about it? The kids are going to find out!

Today’s Story

Becca Taylor is a girl with a lot of pain in her life. Her mom left some time ago, and it’s hard for her to feel like she has a real family who can understand and love her. 

Now her loneliness is leaving her vulnerable to a smooth-talking boy who only wants to take advantage of her hurting heart.

HOW ABOUT YOU…  Is pain in your life causing you to make choices you might regret?

CHECK THIS OUT… In Ephesians 4:11-15, God offers special people to protect us when we feel like the world is trying to take advantage of our brokenness.

He gives us our church leaders to turn to for guidance, so that we would not be tricked by the “cunning and craftiness” of those who would like to hurt us.

These verses also say that developing our knowledge of Jesus through His word will help us “reach a unity in the faith” and a “measure of the fullness ofChrist.”

Pain and sorrow are a part of the world we know today. And even worse, there are people who want to use the pain in your life to hurt you even more. Protect yourself with God’s Word in your heart and the counsel of good leaders in your church.
