Check This Out…
God’s got a plan for you.
In Jeremiah 29:11 the Bible says:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
We don’t know what those plans might be and sometimes we are far away from understanding what those plans could be. In the Bible, the story of Daniel tells of a young Jewish boy who was raised in a foreign kingdom. He was far from home and the life that he knew. But throughout his life, Daniel was reminded again and again that God was with Daniel and his friends. These boys stuck to the plan and stayed true to God’s word and they were saved by God again and again. Even when Daniel was an old man and the kingdom had changed with a new ruler on the throne, Daniel had hope in God’s saving power. When evil men planned to kill Daniel in a lion’s den, God changed those plans, so that Daniel instead prospered and had a great future. And God’s name was praised throughout the land.
It’s important to remember that even when we make plans, they don’t always turn out the way that we want. Our good ideas need to be shared with others. Then together with family and friends, plans can be put into action, encouraged and supported by more than just one person. You’ll be surprised when you work this way how many of God’s blessings you’ll see. And don’t worry, he will bless you.
