Check this out…

Believe it or not, when it comes to the direction of our lives, God does NOT hide His will from us.  It may sometimes seem like we’re on a treasure hunt when it comes to determining what God wants us to do with a certain decision we have to make.  But the fact is that what God wants us to do when it comes to any decision is always the same: use the tools He has given us.  What are the tools?  Well, first the Bible- the commands, the lessons, the wisdom and the message of His love contained in His word really can transform our hearts and minds.  Secondly, His Holy Spirit- He lives inside each of us who have accepted Him as savior, and the closer our relationship with Him, the more sensitive we become to His voice and hand guiding us.  Finally, He has given us one another- really, God does use people in the lives of people!  Seek the wisdom of your parents and others more mature in their faith- God can and does speak through them!  Want to hear from God?  Remember- the Word of God, the Spirit of God and the People of God- it's the winning combination.  Oh, and don't forget, God also gave you common sense.  Sometimes, the best decision is just the smartest decision (as in: "should I or shouldn't I try to parachute off the roof of my house?")
