All for You
Child: Hey, don't go away. It's time to read Keys for Kids.
Uncle Charlie: Well, hi there. Come on in. I'm Uncle Charlie, and it is time to read Keys for Kids. But you know what? I think we've got time for a short little chorus and. Oh, it's such a good one. Jesus said that whosoever will may come.
Child: Jesus said that whosoever will whosoever will whosoever will Jesus said that whosoever will whosoever will make home I'm so glad that he included me he included me he included me I'm so glad that he included me when Jesus said that whosoever will make home.
Uncle Charlie: Oh, that song goes right. Right well, with our scripture and our story. The scripture is romans five, six, eight. For when we were yet without strength in due time, Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die yet peradventure. For a good man, some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Sally was a happy little girl. She had a special love for her younger brother, Mark, who had an unusual blood disease. Mark needed an immediate blood transfusion, but he had a very rare blood type. After testing each member of the family, the doctors found that Sally was the one with the same type of blood as Mark. When asked if she was willing to give blood to Mark in order that he might live, Sally replied, I do love my brother lots. If my blood will save Mark, I want to do it.
As the doctor prepared to take some of Sally's blood and put it into Mark's veins, she was quiet. The doctor talked to her to comfort and relax her. After a few minutes, Sally asked, how soon will I die? Did. Did you think you were going to die, Sally? The doctor asked, why. Why, yes. I thought I would die and Mark would live. The doctor was amazed. This young girl so loved her brother that she was willing to die in order that he might live. The doctor quickly assured her that she would be giving only a little of her blood and would soon be up and running around.
Sally gave some of her blood for Mark to live. Yet Mark would only live for a while. Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son, gave his blood. He gave his life for every man, woman, boy and girl that they might believe in him, be forgiven of their sins, and live forever with God.
There's a little song that says something like this. He died that we might be forgiven. He died to make us good, that we might go at last to heaven, saved by his precious blood.
How about you? Have you accepted the eternal life which Jesus gives? John 316 says, whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Believe that you are a sinner and that you need help. Then believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he gave his blood for you. If you really believe this, you'll want to ask him to forgive you and save you. And he will. Here's a good verse to remember. Romans five eight. But God commendeth or showed his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The key we want to remember today is Jesus gave his blood for you.
