Nepal Rocked by Earthquake
On Saturday, November 4, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck Nepal’s western region of Jajarkot. This was followed by a 5.6 magnitude aftershock. Keys for Kids Ministries is partnering with Good News Nepal to provide some relief there. According to leaders on the ground, this earthquake is just 200km from their training facility.
According to reports, more than 150 people have died in the disaster. More than 300 were injured. More than 4,000 families have lost their homes, including friends of Good News Nepal.
Keys for Kids Ministries is raising funds to help the victims of the earthquake. They need medical assistance, shelter, food, and more. Leaders on the ground say families are coming down from the mountains and they’re open to hearing the gospel.
Our partnership has translated Keys for Kids devotionals and Storytellers (solar-powered MP3 players with Scripture and Keys for Kids stories loaded on them). These units are effective in sharing the life-changing message of the gospel with kids and their families. They also come equipped with a much-needed light.
Your gift today of $100 or more will help Good News Nepal provide physical assistance, while also helping Keys for Kids Ministries provide the message of the Gospel through these resources.
Please give as generously as you can. Nepal is a predominately Hindu nation. Kids, teens, and families NEED Jesus.
Thanks in advance for what you’re going to do to help the people of Nepal cope with this terrible tragedy. Pray that God uses this situation to lead many to Himself.
