Meet Zach
Hey, I’m Zach, host of the Keys for Kids podcast, Down Gilead Lane, and Red Rock Mysteries. You can also hear me on Keys for Kids Radio!

Let me tell you a little about myself! I have a younger brother named Pete. We’ve had our share of “brotherly” moments! Sports are a big deal for me, especially soccer. I love getting out there and playing with friends. Growing up, I had a dog named Chester, and he was my buddy. We had so many adventures together, and I still miss him.
Do you have a life verse? A “life verse” is a particular Scripture that means a lot to you and you think of often. Mine is Romans 8:28: “God works everything for the good of those who love Him…” This was the verse my mom shared with me after Chester died.
Life hasn’t always been easy. I remember having a rivalry with a classmate named Trevor in sixth grade, and I didn’t always make the best choices. Like that time I accidentally ripped my friend’s baseball glove and tried to blame it on him. Or when I stole a Lego Batman set… yeah, not my proudest moments!
I’ve moved a few times, which meant making new friends and adjusting to new places. And I’ve definitely had to learn how to navigate family relationships. But through it all, my faith has been a huge part of my journey. I’ve learned a lot from my relationship with Jesus, and I’ve seen how God has helped me through fear, frustration, and disappointment. I’m just a regular guy, trying to figure things out, and I hope my stories can help you know that God is always there for you too.
Do you ever have questions about the Bible? In each issue of the Keys for Kids print devotional, we learn more about the Bible together, and I also answer questions from kids like you! If you have a question about God, the Bible, or the Christian life, I want to hear it!
You can send me your question online here, or mail it to me at:
